What You'll Need
Before you begin, make sure you have one of the following from your IPTV provider:
- Xtream Codes Credentials: Portal URL, Username, and Password
- M3U Playlist URL: A direct link to your .m3u or .m3u8 playlist file
📝 Note: If you don't have an IPTV source yet, you can find free, legal sources from community projects like
iptv-org on GitHub. Always verify that streams are legal in your region.

- Enter your connection details:
- Connection Name: A friendly name to identify this connection (e.g., "My IPTV Provider")

Step 3: Create Your First M3U Playlist
Now that you have a connection added, you can create a customized M3U playlist:
- Click Live TV in the navigation menu — this opens your M3U playlists
- Click Create New Playlist
- Give your playlist a name (e.g., "My Channels" or "Sports Only")
- Select the connection you just created
- Set up filter rules if you want, or start with all channels
- Click Create Playlist
Your playlist has been created! You'll now see it in the playlist list with a unique URL.
Step 4: Get Your Playlist URL
To use your playlist in a media player or server:
- On the Live TV page, find your newly created playlist
- Click the Copy URL button next to the M3U URL
- You'll also see an EPG/XMLTV URL - copy this too if you want program guide data
💡 Tip: The M3U URL is what you'll paste into your IPTV player (like VLC, TiviMate, etc.) or media server (like Emby, Jellyfin, Plex). The EPG URL provides program guide information.
Step 5: Test Your Playlist
To verify everything is working:
- Open your favorite IPTV player (VLC is a good choice for testing)
- Add the M3U URL as a network stream or playlist
- You should see your channel list load
- Try playing a few channels to confirm they work
